Fidelity score
How faithfully a document was read before anything was made from it.
A score assigned to each uploaded document after extraction: how much of the text was recovered cleanly, whether formulae came through intact, whether images were captured. A clean typed worksheet scores in the high nineties. A skewed photocopy scores lower and gets flagged for a re-scan of the affected pages.
It exists so that bad input is caught before conversion, not after a student has seen a garbled question.
