Explanation
What a stuck student gets at 9pm: a hint, then an example, then the solution, from the centre's page.
On the platform, an explanation is help drawn from the centre's own material and nothing else, offered in stages: a hint about the method, a worked example with different numbers, then the full solution. Each explanation cites the document and page it came from, and the tutor can see how many stages each student used.
